URLAUR PATTERN 2011

P1010874

On August 4th there was a very large gathering of people at Urlaur Abbey for the annaul Pattern.  It began with Mass at 1pm and was followed by a Pageant on the life of St Dominic.  The narration and acting was provided by members of the community and neighbouring communities and the script was written by John Caulfield.  Well done to all involved.  Following the Pageant there was an afternoon and evening of entertainment for all the family.  Included below are a few pictures from the Pageant.  A DVD of the event has been commissioned and copies will be available.  Other photos will be available too.  More details later.

PLAYING FOR CHANGE

This is a lovely piece of videography and a fine tune!  It's part of a campaign to promote music as a source of unity throughout the world.  Enjoy!
